LibKey Nomad: access to Massey-subscribed PDFs in more places

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that links you to Massey-subscribed full-text PDFs wherever you’re searching, such as Google, Google Scholar, Wikipedia and many other websites.

You get more PDFs on the spot – with fewer paywalls or checking of the Library website to see if scholarly or academic articles are available.

LibKey Nomad is very quick and easy to install on each browser you use. Search for and select �۶���Ƶ Library as your organisation.

Once you’ve installed it, you’ll see this button appear whenever LibKey Nomad can find the full-text PDF for you, wherever you’re searching:

It may pop up when you click on the title of an article (for example, in Google and Google Scholar), or it may appear in a list of results or references (for example, in Wikipedia and PubMed).

AI tools

AI tools can help you find, summarise and organise literature. If you are going to use AI tools you should:

• check each of your courses to see which AI tools (if any) are allowed
• see Massey's Stream site (�۶���Ƶlogin required), including the literature-related pages below
• use and to check that references from AI are real (often they are fake), or to access the full text if the AI tools don't give it to you
• not enter library database articles, ebooks and other content into AI tools, which may breach the terms and conditions.
