Pauline Nijman
Practice Manager - Companion Animal Hospital
School of Veterinary ScienceMy role is primarily clinical operations. I manage a large group of nurses, techs, and receptionists and collaborate across the Veterinary Teaching Hospital to provide to provide an enriching, safe, and supportive environment for our BVSc students.
In 2009 Pauline joined the ۶Ƶ Wildbase team nursing, rehabilitating native wildlife as well as teaching into the BVT and supporting the BVSc and Masters students. During this time Pauline also contributed to the design of both a new wildlife hospital as well as a bespoke wildlife rehabilitation facility and educational material. Pauline is trained in Oiled wildlife responce and was part of NZ's largest oil spill responce in 2011.
In 2021, Pauline took on the role of Practice Manager at ۶Ƶ’s Companion Animal Hospital and is leading a team of ~40 professional staff and clinical operations.
