Dr Kylie Legg B.Eng, M.Sc, PhD

Kylie is a lecturer in equine science at ۶Ƶ in the School of Veterinary Science. She teaches and conducts research across disciplines including equine science, biomechanics, physiology, behaviour, health and welfare, epidemiology and sport science. She has a strong background in engineering as well as 20 years practical experience of working and training horses and people for various sport and recreation industries worldwide. Her research interests stem from her practical experience working with horses around the world. The common themes include injury prevention from both the horse and rider perspectives.
