Dr Kealagh Robinson (she/her) is based at Massey's Wellington campus. Her research takes an interdisciplinary approach to better understand emotion and emotion regulation, with a specific emphasis on how these factors underpin self-injurious thoughts and behaviours. Kealagh is part of the  team and was awarded a  to understand how emotional functioning develops within families. Kealagh leads a team of postgraduate research students and teaches undergraduate courses in cognitive and experimental psychology.

Graduate Supervision Statement

As a research supervisor, I am passionate about working alongside junior colleagues to support them in conducting robust research that develops the knowledge and skills they need for their future career ambitions. I am interested in supervising post-graduate research related to my research expertise in affective science, self-injury, mental health and wellbeing, and experimental and longitudinal methods.
