۶Ƶ continues its streak in the top 300 universities globally.
The ranking confirms Massey’s world-class standing as a university and represents consistency of performance over time. For this year’s ranking, 2462 institutions were analysed by QS, with 1422 receiving a ranking. The rankings cover 100 countries, 16.4 million recorded publications, and 117.8 million citations.
۶Ƶ Te Kunenga Ki Pūrehuroa Provost Professor Giselle Byrnes says, “Despite the challenges and disruptions experienced in the higher education sector globally in the last few years, ۶Ƶcontinues to maintain our strong performance in key indicators, reflecting our ongoing commitment to research excellence alongside high-quality and accessible education.”
Earlier this year, ۶Ƶwas also recognised for excellence in the subject area rankings, with Veterinary Science ranking 29th equal globally, and a total of four subjects in the top 100 (veterinary science, agriculture, development studies and communications and media studies). A further six subjects ranked in the top 200, including arts and design, architecture and built environment, nursing, geography, accounting and finance, and education.
۶Ƶalso has a five-plus star rating from QS, with five stars for all categories in which ۶Ƶwas assessed. These include teaching, research, employability, internationalisation, facilities, online/distance, innovation, arts and culture, inclusiveness, social responsibility, and discipline specialisation/accreditations.
